I've been sober such a long time that I don't really crave alcohol on the regular anymore. In fact, I crave a drink so infrequently that when it hits me, it's a surprise, and it hits me HARD. I was down in Bisbee one summer, hanging out with Jobi from Stanhope's Deathpool and he was expressing concern for me, how it must be hard for me to hang out at the Funhouse and not drink. I told him I was never drinking again... but that if I did, it would be down there, with those shitheads. And yep, a song was born. When I played it for Charlie at the label, he said "it's just a list of drugs." Yeah, sounds like a great song premise to me, pal.
